Next Vladimir works away to locate all the grid lines.
Proprietary pattern recognition technology makes a pretty
good job of separating the log from the grid. This allows
for highly accurate navigation within the reference framework
of the log - and hence accurate digitisation. A neat spinoff
is that the distortion in the original scanned bitmap
has been removed.
Next a variety of automated picking tools using proprietary
graph-theory based alogorithms speedily zap down the curves
(and on my P166 speedy means speedy)
A print preview of the captured (or Vectorised if you want to
be fancy) traces
Of course data can also be saved to disk as an ASCII file,
or passed to an Excel Spreadsheet.
